(Pronounced MA-luh-kai)
I’m a lifelong learner who enjoys reading, hiking, ultimate frisbee, tennis, and cycling for fun.

I am a licensed civil engineer from Oahu, Hawai’i who builds unique places such as open-air malls and elephant exhibits. I also maintained other spaces such as naval-nuclear powered fast attack submarines and a university campus. Currently, I’m constructing something far more boring: office spaces and parking garages in Africa.
I once worked on a side project creating a craft coffee and beer website, and finished dead last in my age group in a sprint triathlon.
I hold an undergraduate degree from Purdue University and a Masters from Columbia University. Now, I’m engrossed in personal academic pursuits studying remotely at Westminster Theological Seminary.
I have type A+ blood, and a type B personality. Myers-Briggs suggests I’m an INTP.
I’m pretty normal, pretty laid back, and pretty low-key; a place maker, space maker, and Boilermaker.
